We believe QR code technology should be accessible to everyone. Most generators lock essential features behind expensive subscriptions, add watermarks to free codes, or require signups before you can even preview your design. QRWink takes a different approach: design everything for free, then upgrade only when you need HD exports.
QR codes are generated client-side in your browser — the content you encode in a static code (WiFi passwords, contact information, URLs) never leaves your device. Privacy is not an afterthought; it is the architecture itself. The one thing we store is what the optional dynamic-QR feature needs: its editable destination and scan analytics live on our servers so you can update the link and see the stats.
Who Builds QRWink
QRWink is built and maintained by a small, independent team of developers and designers with expertise in Next.js, React, and web performance. We created QRWink after experiencing firsthand how existing QR generators were either too expensive, too limited, or too invasive with user data.
Our approach combines technical excellence with user-first design — every feature is tested for accessibility, performance, and real-world scanning reliability across devices and environments.
