QRWink is designed with a privacy-first architecture. All QR code data, design preferences, language settings, and theme preferences are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device. We do not require account creation to use the core features of our Service (designing QR codes). When you sign up or subscribe to a paid plan, we collect your email address for account management and payment processing. We also log anonymous usage events (page visits, browser type, device type, screen size, and truncated IP addresses) to improve our Service. If you complete a payment, we log the event type and plan selected alongside your email address.

QRWink does not use third-party analytics scripts (such as Google Analytics) or fingerprinting techniques. We use minimal, short-lived cookies strictly for authentication purposes: when you sign in with Google, temporary cookies are used to complete the authentication flow and are deleted immediately after. No persistent tracking cookies are set. We collect minimal, anonymous server-side analytics to improve our service. When you visit a page, we record: the page URL, your browser type, device type, screen size, and IP address. This data is stored on our servers and is not shared with third parties. It is used solely to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service.

Our Service loads resources from the following external providers to deliver functionality and visual assets: - Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com): Used to load the Inter and Playfair Display typefaces. Google may log standard HTTP request data such as your IP address and browser user agent. See Google's Privacy Policy for details. - Simple Icons CDN (cdn.simpleicons.org): Used to fetch brand logos for QR code customization. Standard HTTP request metadata may be logged by the CDN provider. - Flagcdn (flagcdn.com): Used to display country flag images. Standard HTTP request metadata may be logged. We do not share any user data with these services beyond what is inherent to loading web resources (i.e., your browser making standard HTTP requests).

QR code designs, language settings, and theme preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage. You have full control over this data and can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data. Anonymous usage analytics (page visits, browser type, device type) are stored on our servers to improve the Service. If you sign up or subscribe, your email address is stored securely for account and payment management. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. All server communications use HTTPS encryption. Payment data is processed exclusively by Stripe and never touches our servers.

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled entirely by our third-party payment processor. We do not store, process, or have access to your credit card numbers, banking details, or other financial information. Please refer to the payment processor's own privacy policy for information about how they handle your payment data.

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we do not collect personal data from any users, this concern is inherently mitigated by our privacy-first design.

You may delete all locally stored data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for our domain. If you have a paid account, you can delete your account and all associated data from the Account Settings page. This will cancel any active subscriptions and remove your email from our records. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you retain all rights granted under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data.
